IT LOOKS LIKE THESE TWO ARE TRYING TO CORRUPT "PRIME"... NOT WORK SAFE

soo lucky in so cal where a crappy house will run you 500k and the wax melts off your car in 10 mins at high noon!

500k, that's pretty cheap. :) The wax won't melt off your car unless you live in the desert. It's around 70-80 here most of the time and it almost never rains, except for earlier this year which was highly unusual... It makes it nice especially if you're a golfer. At one of the local courses near my house, I played with a group once when it started to rain. The guys were from Seattle and insisted that we play through, they're better prepared for that kind of weather.

Yeah it rains sometimes, and now the housing market is getting almost as crazy as down there, but I am one of thoes "hot guys" and not the way parismodel says she is hot, so I just can't take the heat down there and sunfaded/damaged interiors are rare up here, but it is a really long drive to disneyland, anyway since this thread has coverd all topics i just thought i would toss that in. I was in southern California, Anaheim Hills, for the last winter. It seemed like it rained 6 days out of the week and the temperature was a cold. :frown:

Yeah this year was one of the worst I can remember. We had some landslides out in Newport because we got so much rain this year. That makes up for all those years of drought.

So enough about the weather, and here is another non NSX photo and hopefully it will put this thread to and end!

That bunny picture is funny (my wife loves it - we have four bunnies at home).

No NSX in that picture, but at least the bunny didn't come on here and say "I have nothing to prove, just look at me. Look how HOT I am with this pancake on my head!" In addition, it was nice that the bunny didn't tell me "if you don't like this picture, then you must not like bunnies."

TOO funny Nalesh!
Incidentally, I like bunnies too - but instead of with pancakes I especially like mine in a nice stew with some carrots and boiled potatoes!

Nalesh you are killing me.

Ken -I like bunnies too but could not put one in a stewing pot - to damn cute. Besides when was the last time a bunny did something to hurt someone? I wonder if Paris Model wears fur?

My cat likes bunnies too, he left me one on my front porch Saturday evening with it's pancake holder severed, poor bunny. I will not post a pic  , even though my cat was quite proud! The Bastard!

This thread has so many tangents, what's another one?

True story:
Back in the old country, my next door neighbour had a bunny and used to tie it with a collar and length of rope so it could enjoy the yard without managing to escape. I was watching from my kitchen window one day when I saw another neighbour's cat stealthily belly-crawling up behind the "frozen" bunny. I thought what was about to follow was inevitable - however this cat apparently had other things on it's mind rather than the obvious: it pinned the rabbit from behind but then proceeded to attempt to mount it! The rabbit would tolerate so much as the cat tried to work its way "into position" & then buck it off, Poor thing could only get away so far because of the rope & the cat tried over & over again with the same result.
Was the rabbit male or female I hear you ask? I'd like to think female - nothing queer about Scottish cats!
I was completely cracking up at this - honestly, 100% true.

Must have been one of those 'Playboy Bunnies'

Seeing this same model "Ashley" over and over on different threads is getting, well.....boooring (you Socal guys know what I mean - step outside right now and you'll probably see 50 hot women), so I'll validate this thread and add a picture. Now, THAT is HOT! That's what I really wanted to see.

Romeo,
Now that's what I'm talking about. I never get tired of looking at NSXs. Nice collection. Nice Type S models and I love that Takata Dome 1/24.

Speaking of the "real models" in that pic, does anyone know if there is a die cast of that white mobil 1 car? I love that thing and would love to get a die cast version of it in 1:16 or 1:24 (or is it 1:20?).

Umm dont know if its available in 1/24 scale diecast yet. I do know you can get a 1/24 plastic kit from Tamiya (I have several of those kits )

As far as I know, they are only available in 1/43 scale diecast by Ebbro

Based on size comparisons to most of the other larger NSXs (which I'm assuming are mostly 1:24 and 1:18) in the picture, I'd take a guess that the white Mobil 1 NSX is 1:10 scale. That tells me that it's probably a Tamiya R/C kit. That and the fact that there's an antenna sticking out of the rear window. :p

That version has since been discontinued (Full kit including chassis, wheels and body Item #58220, body only Item# 50798), being that Tamiya is now selling 2002+ style JGTC NSXs in their 1:10 R/C line. However, they are not currently selling an NSX in the Mobil 1 paint/color scheme. If you must get a Mobil 1 NSX, HPI Racing has a 2002+ style version in 1:18 scale in either kit form or body only, and in 1:10 scale in either 200mm or 190mm body widths.

I also discussed the 1:18 body here and the 1:10 body here .

Everyone on Prime should be learning, meeting people, sharing stories/pics, and over all having a good time. If that isn't what you are about...
True, true but did you notice the name of the site? NSXPrime.com not selfpromoteme.com.

I agree if you posted in the vendors forum for photo work it would be accepted.

speaking of models, may i ask any transformer fans here? kinda silly, but i love those darn things since i was a kid and still do. I wonder if they have transformers for the NSX.

I caught some old movie on HBO the other day about transformers battling in the future. A young Billy Bob Thorton was one of the actors. Anyone know the name of the movie? Really wasn't too bad of a movie for being made many years ago.

I thought I was the only one that still secretly played with transformers, I have been collecting since the 80's :) Now if I could just figure out how to make my nsx transform............
