Is this a good price?

Found in an "exotic used cars" ad;

"96 NSX 20k miles, one owner, new tires at 12K,
clutch is perfect, garage kept, never smoked in."

I have yet to check carfax or service history, etc. They're asking $42k. Before I check it out is this a good price? What should you offer?

With those miles they aren't way off base with the price. I would offer like $37k and see how serious they are about selling it.
