Is it me or are there just more beautiful women in LA

It is most noticeable to me with Asian women. People dress better, take care of themselves better, people surround themselves with more luxuries like a nice car, and etc.

Colorado is known to be the top 10 state that has the least obese people and ranks in the top 10 on education as well having more graduates from college. This statistic is based on total population though. I bet it wouldn't be true if narrowed down to cities.

I am beginning my career in CO because of demographic reasons, but I heart LA.

But I can't wait to move to CA when I can generate enough income on the investments I've made here. It will be a couple years out, but I am looking forward to moving to LA in the future.

Ton, no disagreement on the beauty here, but maybe you should go spend some time at UC Boulder.

I'm curious about what you mean by being there for demographic reasons.

Dude, try Cincinnati/Norther KY. Women here are a bunch of fat cows that dress in sweats and crap from the clearance section of Walmart. Now, Montreal, that's a city with some hot women.

Los Angeles is the most populated city in the country, so naturally there will be more of everything ( including beautiful girls ) because of the sheer # of people. For me however, Caracas, Venezuela is the beautiful women capital of the world.

yes, I've recently moved to Santa Monica, and my neck is starting to hurt from all the whiplash. :)

I have. I own a restaurant and bar within walking distance from the University of Denver. We are in the process of a merger with another established catering business that has been opened for 17 years. Together we will be cranking it up maximizing all channels of distribution at the tiny 3000 sq. restaurant we will both own closing at 2am in the morning and closed only on Sundays.

I chose Denver, CO because I of several reasons.

There are many advantages for me to start off here.

1. My alumni status brings me a lot of business to the restaurant and bar. The University is very supportive of their alumni and it is hard to replace the business connections I've made here. I work with charities and have sat on the Board of Directors for the Colorado restaurant Association.
2. All of my close friends that I would do business with are here. I owe them for the success we had on some of the business investments I have made. I'm a partner in 2 companies besides the restaurant; an investment firm and a real estate company. I made friends with people whose parents and friends have connections here in CO. My investments decisions are made almost 100% by them since I am not from here and their parents are pretty big here both in private equity investments and real estate. The property I bought by the University where our restaurant is sitting on was tipped to me by them. Now there is a 25 million real estate development project literally next door to my building. They knew before that it was going to happen.
3. Denver, CO is a good place to start out. Housing is low, its one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S., and I know more people here in Denver than anywhere else in the U.S. Not a lot of competition in the Asian segment of food as the majority of the population here is definitely white. I was the only Thai undegraduate student at DU during my tenure there. Competition is not as fierce as I would say CA. CA is a democratic state, laws are not so favorable for business owners.

That being said. I hate snow. I think the food here is horrible, that is why I went into the restaurant business, because around the college neighborhood, the number one request based on a survey was a new eatery and bar to support the huge college population that now includes a brand new Law School. Chanchellor Ritchie use to run things at Westinghouse, and he has turned the University of Denver around to a really high end private school.

I agree with the sheer #'s of things. But it doesn't hurt that everyone is more materialistic, which equals less clothing, which costs more, but looks greats.

I would still have to argue that Thailand will be the top ten places. I'm not saying this because I'm from Thailand, but Thailand is where beautiful people get to really live it up. And I am not talking about just Thai women. I studied in an international school, they are plenty of Americans, Italians, Japanese, Koreans, and etc residing in Thailand.

I have a favorite story that I tell to all people about Thailand. I once took a friend from the U.S back to Thailand. And after 4 years.......he has still not returned. He got a modeling job, learned to speak Thai (it is considered cute and cool to not be able to speak Thai fluently or properly unlike how it is uncool to not speak English here fluently with an accent), and has not come back since.

True story. No one that I have brought back to Thailand with me keeps bugging me on when I will have time to bring them back with me again.

Higher concentration of Millionaires in a city tend to stock better looking class of women...

Women in Fargo, ND would not match those in Miami, FL or Los Angeles, CA.

I have to say that the most beautiful women I've ever seen are in surprisingly in Russia and Syria. Drop dead gorgeous. When I lived in California (Santa Barbara) years ago, I thought there were a lot of good looking women. When I moved back to Santa Barbara after being away for seven years, one of my first thoughts was, "Where did all the good looking women go?"

The women in Holland!

Put it #1 for me. ;) Coming back, even to LA, after BKK is always depressing. I understand your situation in Colorado though. Kow jai... Let me know when you go back...

Hehe. I'm going back early next month. I'll try to stay in L.A for a little while. Lots of good times in LA as well. I still miss the college days when I didn't have to face "responsibilities." Lots of good times then in LA. Everyone has either went back home or "has responsibilities" now.

I guess that is why I party so hard when I go to LA or back to Thailand. I leave "responsibilities" in Colorado where they belong.

As you get older, you start to enjoy new things. I use to enjoy the company of older women, but I think now I'll try the reverse. It is amazing to see how have some of these use to be "little girls" have grown up. I'm starting to see value in having a sister for once and the younger girlfriends of my friends who I use to consider annoying.

I thank all the celebrities like Demi Moore/Ashton for making this acceptable in society. I always thought it was wrong.

OK, then, where's the queue :D?

It did seem to me there were more in So Cal than average even considering the population. Maybe its because there's more motivation to stay fit and be active in warmer weather/at the beach. I've noticed the same thing about Florida.

This is probably because L.A. is also one of the most superficial places on Earth, where appearance, image, and status are everything. This is not meant as a flame, just an observation gleaned from experience, and also the accounts of everyone I have ever spoken to that actually lived there. It is a city built on dreams and someplace everyone wants to be....if it wasn't they would not have such a high cost of living. When you have a city that is so deeply bought in to the 'image' lifestyle you will have better looking people. Again, that is not a flame at all, just an observation. I surely have nothing against beautiful ladies. ;)

Exactly!!!! I had a girlfriend from So Cal and she said she moved away because she was tired of the attitude that you had to look good and be perfect to be accepted in So Cal...I visted her family many times and I have been there for many other reasons and I always noted how "Made Up" the woman are all the time.....JZ

When I've visited Los Angeles, I've noticed that there are a lot of beautiful women there. When I've visited New York City, I've noticed that there are a lot of beautiful women there. When I've visited most other places, I've noticed that there are a lot of beautiful women there. Then when I get back home to Chicago, I notice that there are a lot of beautiful women here, too. :D

I find the most beautiful women on NSXPrime. Any woman with a NSX qualifies as HOT! Next to Prime, I'd say NYC.

I was impressed with both of those cities.
I was also impressed with Minnesota.
I guess it depends on what you view as Beautiful.
Selma Hayek or Anjelina Jolie
Halle Berry or Lucy Lui
Roselyn Sanchez or Jessica Alba
Bridget Moynahan or Actress Aishwarya Rai
Iman or Porcia Derossi
(SP? FOR ALL ABOVE)

The city with the mix of the above would be the most appealing to me.
Lived in Cali, loved the scenery, Been to Florida, Loved the scenery.
You all just tell me where I can find the biggest mix, pot pouri, of all above and I would love to visit.
