Is it illegal to drive a left hand drive car in the UK

I am trying to decide whether or not these people are really selling there car.

Some cars are only made as a LHD, but you can buy them from dealers and drive around. e.g. Fiat Barrchetta (spell?), Most American cars, Mitsubishi Eclipse.

No, no sticker needed. If the car is registered from a foreign country you are supposed to re-register it in the UK, in 3 months.
