Group Buy Introducing the LoveFab WFS NSX Chassis Bracing System

Cody ship my bars whenever they're ready. I just took a look at your pictures and I'm 99.9% according to your pictures and the duct that I have "downforce" one that the bar will fit since I have the cut the duct slightly the portion I have to cut is a good few inches away from the opening of the hood itself.

We will be building a CTSC compatible version, but we will need a CONFIRMED list of five PAID orders to put priority to the job.

I do not have a 1.25" die for the bender, and this is a sizable investment. We will be building one CTSC compatible bar to fit all CTSC setups; ie, with enough clearance for the DA aftercooler. It might be smarter to start another GB on just the CTSC bars? There are already four different products in this GB alone...

Bars will ship within two weeks, including powder coating.

I will go on record as the first on the list if this comes about. When do you want payment?

I have another person interested in the CTSC bar as well, so this would be 2 interested parties. I would consider moving forward with three bars, I just need to get enough cash together for materials and the dies. Will you be ordering any of the front bars sippy? I could use profits from those to help fund the CTSC bar needs...

Got mine in red today. Wow it looks nice. I hope to get it on in a few days and get some pics. I have the type-r rad duct so some trimming will have to happen. Gonna try and make it nice and clean.

When removing the 4 bolts to install the upper bar, is there any precautions to be made? Will anything move/shift by removing these bolts? Thanks.

No, they should be fine. I would recommend taping off the inside of the headlight buckets, as its a tight fit, and paint can be scratched. Also, unplug/move the headlight plugs during installation.

Loading pictures of several items ready to ship. We have a run of front bars in production now, which should be completed by Tuesday of next week. sduffass, PM'ing you.

Here are pictures of the Targa bar. I also updated the first post to include these.

And, complete. Bar is out for powdercoating.

disclaimer: I have a STMPO RTSB

What clearance do you have on the vacuum lines, alternator, and intake cover ?
It appears that the strut to strut bar component is set back further in the engine bay than the RTSB
maybe an inch or two..

Looks like a stiff setup and good when powder coated

Very nice parts CODY. I have the DF type-r hood. If you want me to try your front bar to confirm if this works for the other prime mebers I will be more than happy to confirm this for you. Here is my contact number. 732-742-6620. Thanks, Frank Spano

Cody will you give us a heads up when the next batch of "lower" bars are being built? I'll likely order a red one to match my upper, thanks, David.

It was a busy weekend guys; sorry I didnt reply sooner. New batch of tubing arriving in an hour or so, we begin front upper, and a couple of lower bars. We had multiple simultaneous printer failures in the office, I just haven't had the time to leave the shop when anything is open to replace one of them, but we finished up a car last night, so I can breathe and step away for an hour.

Just found out about this thread.

Have a question about the front lower bar.
Is that one compatible with the Downforce NSX-R bumper undercover and a aluminum battery plate.
Once you have this lower bar, does it replace the original NSX-R lower bar??
I have covered up the whole front underside of my NSX to get some downforce together with the VIS NSX-R hood and Dali Racing ducting.
Already know that I would have to cut up the duct for the top bar, but would like to know if the lower bar is compatible with a close front.

I also have the NSX-R sway bar up front. Does that make any difference?

I assume it would not make sense to install just the top chassis bar.
