Introducing the Acura NSX DIY LED Taillight Kit

I knew situation like this would arise.
Hence, I stopped my LED conversion services after I found that these LEDs do go out over a period of time and replacing them is a PITA.
Good luck with those that need to get their LEDs replaced.

Not to step on anyones toes but if anyone's interested I can provide repair services for Chris' kit. I'm thinking it'll be around $1-$2 per LED which includes a new LED and the replacement.

I can also possibly offer a conversion from resistor to controller based but will need a volunteer as I'm not 100% sure how he wired his kit up.

Thanks Kix for stepping up and helping us Primer's! I'm one of the original purchasers of this kit (sent a brand new set of tails to apkarian100), but haven't had any issues so far...when my fails, nice to have some other options out there!

So has Chris disappeared? I was the first to send him a set of 02+ tail lights. My lights work fine but he found out on my set that a resistor (i think) needs to be installed to stop the "taillight out" from coming up on the dash. I also need them re-sealed as Chris didn't seem to do the best job re-sealing them back together. I tried to PM him but it looks like his PM box is full so.
Any ideas?

Chris helped me with my kit and some issues a few months ago. But he said that he was not continuing the LED tailight project, due to school.

Guys I just got them from Kix and they look very well put together. Price is about the same, he has controllers for all brightness levels, is using high quality RED LED's, and he has a fix for the flasher.

As an installer, I have worked with both systems and I must say that the quality of Richard Kix's kit is so far the best I've seen.
