I have been getting an intermittent check engine light. It seems like it comes on after my car has been sitting. Stays on the rest of the day...then the next day it is off.
Any ideas?

Okay I think you have an OBDII car (98)
I'd suggest you download the free 1997-2005 shop manual from the Wiki.
Then go to page 11-38 and either connect your OBDII reader or use a paper clip and short the two wires under the glove dept.
Once shorted the CEL(MIL) light on the dash will blink telling you what the error code is.
I do this on my 91 and I believe it's the same on an OBDII car except you can get your data from a reader which I can't
