I plan to put a full cage in my NSX and will have to replace the rear interior glass by a polycarbonate one to let the tubes pass. The glass is sealed or fixed with a gasket ? What is the thickness of this glass ? If it is sealed, I will have to get the same thinkness of polycarbonate to fit it back in the seal.

The rear window is a double inner glass, this to reduce the nuisance of the heat engine and above all the noise, the cockpit of the nsx could become a real oven, engine noise will be annoying:wink:

I remember when the NSX was released, the pundits joked about the vacuum that Honda placed between the two pieces of glass to help with sound isolation was actually there for weight reduction

If you are using plastic, you may want to simply use some sort of universal weatherstripping so you can replace easily when is turns cloudy, and it will. I replaced mine with the single pane R glass. The gasket is a bitch. I"d do it on your first beer and not more.
