Interior / Leather Seats

NSXTwinTurbo: I'm thinking about ordering from the same place and just wanted to get your impressions on it now that you've had it on there for a little while. It seems like it was definitely money well spent -- but are there any downsides to this? Is the quality + stitching top-notch? Does the new leather clash at all with the older leather/vinyl in other parts of the car, eg. console armrest?

I still love my new leather seats as much as I did the day I got the seats reinstalled. It was definitely worth the money, time, and effort. The leather fits in there nicely and doesn't clash with the other leather. I guess that the seats draw some much attention that I just ignore everything else. The stitching is holding up perfect and I still highly recommend getting your seats done. With the cost of my local upholstery shop to do the center cushions I spent approximately $890, compared to the best quote I got from a 3 custom upholstery shops was $1500 (which didn't include the NSX stiching in the Headrests.)

Thanks Tony, I'm DEFINITELY going to go down this route. My leather isn't really worn or anything (except drivers side bolster), but it has gotten hard over the years and rather than try and restore it I think it makes more sense to go this route especially since it gives the car a much sportier look as well. I'll probably wait til the spring before I order though since I won't be able to get it on the car before then.

One other thing: In the pictures above, in the original seat you have the driver side seat controls but they're not there with the new leather installed. Do you have a closeup picture of the final install with the seat controls cut back in? Thanks!

I think the seats look good. But a question I have would be, how would these seats compare to the Sparco Roadsters redone in leather? I really like the looks of the roadsters in leather but the only gripe I would have would be losing the ability to adjust the seat. What do you guys think?

I just have to be able to adjust the seats...also, the factory seats are so comfortable especially when you drive your NSX practically every day.
