Insurance options for occasional weekend driver?

Does anybody know if there are more cost effective insurance solutions if someone is only planning to drive the car on occasional weekends? Seems a waste to activate insurance from April / May until Nov / Dec when I'm only driving it rarely...

Do insurance companies allow you to activate and deactivate frequently? There must be a better solution...

Contact Haggarty Insuranace. They offer policies designed for non-business and week-end only users. There's another company but I can't remember their name.

Get a quote from a collector car insurance company such as Hagerty. They offer "agreed vaule" policies.:wink:

I just sent them an E-mail but from their website, I'm not sure they cover Canada...
