:confused:Hi NSX - friends,
does anybody know how to solve the next problem?
When I turn the contact on, the temperature of the cooling seems to be REDHOT. I checked the liquid, the temp.sensor, radiator is cold, etc..
I don't dare to drive by thinking it's just a failure in the gauge.
Please If you know what I've to do, please send a mail.

With kind regards,

If the engine is cold and the guage says it's hot then the temp sensor has to be bad or shorted along the way. I'd replace the sensor. The temp guages in these cars are not known failure points.
Happy Motoring!

If the temp is on HOT immediately starting your car or just turning the key to the ON position in the morning, then I would suspect it's a failed guage.

The temp guage can be purchased seperately and isn't too expensive. $80. The thin copper wire in the back can easily break contact with one of the points.

The temp guage could failed if you have taken the instrument cluster out in the past to install guage rings or CF overlay.
