Putting headers on a na1 will change the engine sound from around 4000rpm +, the pitch becomes a lot smoother and slightly higher pitched. You can definitely feel the power gains on top of that too.

I like the idea of more power and smoother, but I don't know if I would like a higher pitch sound. I want to stay away from the "ricey" sound. If you know what i mean?:tongue:

well its definitely not the high pitch sound that you normally would associate with a 4 cylinder engine. A v6 will never sound like that, just like how a v6 can never sound like a Siamese Crank v8 of a Ferrari. I'm very very very very happy with my headers, now i rev to 4K-5K all the time just to hear the car sing. It changes the tone in a way that is hard to describe, its not really higher pitch but it sounds more powerful, ( that is the first impression my girl friend said )
