Installing GruppeM mesh cover

Purchased a GruppeM carbon fiber mesh engine cover from MJ at DaliRacing but having problems with install. Has anyone installed one of these on a 2000 NSX.

Any help would be appreciated.

I assume you are installing on a NSX-T.
All the Gruppe M Covers I have seen have been on Coupes. We have tried to test fit a OEM T-Top Engine Cover on coupe before, and it didn't fit(would not close properly). Most if not all the NSXs in Japan are coupes, so most likely they only made it for coupes. The Gruppe M Cover may or may not fit the NSX-T, we have never tried.

We did get the mesh carbon kevlar engine cover on a couple of NSX-Ts with minor revisions to the hinge area, and it opens and closes fine.

However, these were earlier NSX-Ts (as in 95-96), and we still do not know whether there were any changes in the later years that do not make these engine covers interchangeable.

I will find out more this weekend.

I had to purchase a set of coupe hinges and modify them with part of my Targa hinges.They mount perfect and fit fine.
