Wow...I have to say thanks to Chris at SOS and Aaron for helping in my selection of the JGTC. I would have been disappointed with anything quieter. If you enjoy hearing your exhaust at all RPM's then the JGTC is for you. Amazingly, with the windows up, the cabin noise is not much different from stock. With the windows down, the sound is loud, but not overbearing...After driving around for awhile, it's easy to tell that from behind, the sound is incredible...It gives an awesome "echo" off of everything you pass (other cars, underpasses, etc.) It has several distinct "pitches" as you move up through the RPM range. At WOT it simply wails like a race engine should. As far as any power increases..tough to tell..Feels faster, but that could be all in my head..I definitely noticed that my throttle response is a lot more crisp..I especially notice this when starting off in 1st gear...The only negative side to the JGTC: My gas mileage will decrease dramatically because I find myself spending a lot more time in the upper rev ranges..No problem accepting that trade-off.

Glad I could be of assistance

That is a great description, especially the part about it resonating off of other cars, even when they are going the opposite direction! Enjoy it.....

I am leaning really close to the JGTC, but worry about cabin droning noise, is that something I should be concerned about? Or, would I just be blown away by the sound and will probalby not stay in cruising speed much, and always try to rev up

The JGTC is very well tuned. Relative to the volume it produces, you don't get the interior resonance that will drone out the stereo or a cell call, especially with the windows up. I'll let others confirm that.

Sounds like a good exhaust, I am in the market for one and was looking at the comptech. How does the sound compare? Louder, deeper? Did you just replace the exhaust or did you also replace the headers.

Chris is indeed correct. The exhaust is very loud on the outside, but does not drone within the car. Obviously with the windows down a person having a cell conversation with you would hear the exhaust but with the windows up it is actually very quiet in the car. On long trips (over 3 or 4 hours) you do not get out wishing for the stock piece back. No need to worry about that!

It is much more aggressive and deeper than the Comptech exhuast.

You can find the exhaust here:
http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/exhaust_airflow_products/NSX/TAITEC/JGTC_Parallel_Exit/

It is louder than Tubi (which is about as loud, if not slightly quieter, than the Comptech exhaust). Headers contribute to about 15-20hp, offer slight weight reduction, and increase the volume of the exhaust note slightly while making it slightly deeper sounding.

Currently recommend the Comptech headers (which we offer).

I too just got my JGTC Parallel on Monday & my buddy who is a custom stereo installer & I immediately went to work in his shop. Total install time was about 45 minutes. We had to wrestle a bit w/ the rubber rings b/c one too taut. We also found that it helps to loosen the cats inorder to get the holes & bolts to align. The fit is near perfect off the bat, but one tip hung aboiut 1/2" lower. A little bit of tweakage of one of the hooks solved that. The construction is beautiful, the fit is now perfect & I'm running RM sways (which did not get in the way of the install) & DC Sports headers. The sound is as incredible as described by the others. If you want the perfect balance between something that is very aggressive (LOUD) from the outside and nice low gargle from the inside, this exhaust is by far THE BEST bang for the buck! Don't waste time & money on Comptech, RM, DC, RSR, etc. I would not rule out Tubi or Gruppe M if cost is no object however. I keep on finding excuses to make an extra trip to drive thrus & underpasses. This exhaust is bliss, NO DISSAPOINTMENTS!
