Installation cost for Bilstein shocks.

For suspension work, I'll trust only West End. Darin's the man when it comes to suspension work. He's mastered his craft!
I've not used West End myself but I've read and heard very good things about this shop. The local S2K guys used to swear by him (I only say used to because I only occassionally lurk on S2ki these days)

Yup, he's worked on more s2k suspensions than anyone else in SoCal. He sees a bunch of NSXs too. He'll install coilovers and corner balance for an awesome price.

Yup. I think I was one of the first NSX's he worked on. (I used to have an S2k too, so he came highly recommended when I was on that board alot)

Going to see Darin this week from all the recommendations. I called a few times to arrange my visit, and he always picked up the phone and patiently answered all of my questions.

Make sure you either bring cash or a check. He doesn't accept credit/check cards...atleast he didn't 2 years ago.

Status Auto Design in Hermosa Beach will do it for $200 cash... Flat rate in about an hour and half or so..... e-mail me if you want it.... I own the business and will hook you up...and to any other locals that own NSX's....

I might take you up on that offer, but I need to get my car back from the body shop first.

Do you do corner balance and alignment also?

I greatly appreciate everyone's feedbacks, recommendations, and generous offers. I am set ready to go, looking forward to the after result.

well i dont think i can beat nsx4jack's price. so lets all start a group install day.

i'd like to see atleast 10 hands showing.

This sounds like a terrific idea. Hutch just went on the run today with the SOCAL people and the lip scruffed the ground on hard S turns on relatively high speeds so I guess I will be needing new shocks. Also would like it done at a place where we can get it cornered balanced and etc.

Also need new rotors and brake pads installed while I'm at it. I'm also considering painting the stock calipers red. Anyone try these before? I like the fact that they look a lot better than being painted. Wish they had lettering on that said just NSX though. Having never seen or driven my NSX yet I was wondering if the stock calipers say NSX on it. It might be worth the time to paint the calipers red and the lettering in black.

I should probably post a new thread on this, so I'll copy and paste this.

NSX Status shop hopefully is not too far from OC. Might take it there if its not too far and they have some Bilsteins in stock

Got it installed today by Autowave, as always top notch service, I am looking forward going back again to have Mark work on my NSX again, hopefully next time it will be for CTSC.

I am finally happy with the look from all angles. Thanks again Erick, for the awesome Bilstein deal. You know how badly I wanted to close the gap a little bit more, especially on the front.
