Info about perf MUGEN E.C.U.

Someone use the Mugen ECU ?

Is it a good upgrade ? Vtec point and Rev limit changed ??

Do a search on the Europe forum. A German NSX-driver has a Mugen-ECU-unit (complete) for sale. I do not know the specs myself but this is a guy I know and I would trust his judgement since he is always busy upgrading/testing products for the NSX.

Give King motorsports a call they are the North Amer. mugen dealer.I asked them about the ecu in 00 and was told they had one but had not sold any ,so I lost interest.

sold my Mugen ECU.

Upgrading OEM ECU with DaliRacing chip is cheaper and better.

Specs MUGEN ECU
Vtec point was 5.800 rpm
Rev limit 8.500 rpm

Tip: Spend your money and buy a DaliRacing chip

I am not familiar with the Mugen ECU and don't doubt that the Dali chip works great with my DC sports headers/exhaust - but - my understanding is the chip contains values for what the ECU does under WOT. I believe a replacement ECU would have tuning indormation for closed loop mode as well as when VTEC kicks in, etc.

You may not be comparing apples to apples is my only point and if you are looking for a good / inexpensive mod (especially if you did some cat back mods) - the Dali hot chip is well worth the money.
