I'm excited... Getting new tires for the NSX!!!!!!!

No, the FK-452 is a very different tire. The FK-452 is a "budget performance tire", similar to the Yokohama ES100, Kumho SPT, etc. It is an inexpensive tire, designed for fairly good performance at a bargain price. Its performance is not as good as the best all-around street tires like the Goodyear F1 GS-D3, Bridgestone Potenza S-03 and RE040A, etc. The FK-452 is not yet available in North America, but its predecessor, the FK451, is, and is very similar. (I am assuming that the FK-452 is the newer design to replace the FK-451, based on its name and its similar tread pattern.)
Today, for the first time, I see that the FK-452 is now available in North America, on Vulcan's website. They note that the FK-452 replaces both the FK-451 and the Azenis ST-115 (NOT to be confused with the Azenis RT-615) in Falken's product line. That makes sense, since Falken was selling two different tires, the ST-115 and the FK-451, in the same segment of the market, the "budget performance segment".

Thanks very much for the explanation.
Well, it seems that I will have to look around to see if I can find these tires.
I am currently running the S03 but would not mind trying a tyre with better grip than those. Otherwise, I will have to try the Goodyear F1 GS-D3.
The F1 GS-D3 is very, very good. It has excellent dry traction and excellent wet traction, and it lasts quite a long time. It is similar in those respects to the S-03.

There are really two different kinds of tires here. Because of its excellent wet traction and treadlife, the F1 GS-D3 (as well as the now-discontinued S-03) generally appeals to someone using tires on public roads who cares about both of these factors as well as dry traction. Someone who wants the absolutely best dry traction possible, and doesn't care much about wet traction or treadlife, may be happier with the Falken Azenis RT-615. They really appeal to different priorities.

If you fall into the latter category, and you can't find the RT-615 in Europe, there are other, similar tires that you might be interested in, tires which are designed to maximize dry traction, almost like an R compound track tire. Three other tires come to mind. The BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KD (don't confuse this with the KDW; it's the KD) and the Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 both fall into this category; in North America, they are not available in the most suitable sizes for the NSX, but maybe other sizes are available in Europe. The third tire is the Bridgestone Potenza RE01R, which is just being introduced in North America so it's not yet clear what sizes will be available. If the right sizes are available, any of these might be a good substitute for the Falken Azenis RT-615.

HTH.

I have the GSD-3's on my Cadillac and they are fantastic tires. Nice and quiet, excellent grip, and they really look cool! I'm not kidding, they have a great tread design (ala the Toyo T1-S). However, they are not a track tire. Yes, they'll stick better than a budget performance tire, like the Kuhmo Ecsta 712's, but they are not in the same league as the RT-615s.
