Has anyone ever experienced problems with their ICU?

I appear to have gremlins and strange spirits haunting my electrical system.

In summary:
1) Intermittent Wipers not working
2) Interior courtesy and dome lights out
3) Door chime not working
4) OEM intergrated phone not powering up
5) Rear glass defogger not working
6) Power antenna not working
7) Trunk light out

I tried changing the #34 fuse and cleaning the two main grounds, but still no luck.

Don at Hilltop Auto Service is recommending spending an entire day with the car.

Any more thoughts before I take my car in? Thanks!

Yes, I am looking for further suggestions.

I am curious to know if anyone has ever had to replace their ICU or experienced similar problems.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you have the interest, I suggest you invest the $80~$100 for a shop manual (and the electronics manual) for your car. Based on my own experience, I have found that the "typical" mechanic (no offence to the knowledgeable ones) will just replace parts and hope to get the correct part replaced. They do not get paid to read the manual and follow the step-by-step tests and procedures.

With the shop manual and some descent tools, you would be surprised the faults you can resolve yourself. Otherwise, I hope you get a knowledgeable mechanic spending time on your car.

That's a good suggestion. In particular, in your case, look into the "Electrical Troubleshooting Manual". More info at http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Resources/servicemanuals.htm

Also, I doubt that the source of the problem is the ECU (not ICU, unless your car is REALLY sick

). The ECU controls things like the mixture and timing and a bunch of engine-related things like that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it has any control over the functions of the accessories such as those you mention.
