I may need to sell my NSX, looking for opinions

Congratulations on the upcoming child. If you financially don't have to sell it, don't. When I found out my wife was pregnant I actually bought an NSX. I figured better get it while I can:biggrin: Anyway, during the first 3 years it was a blast. My son is 4 now and although I sold my NSX to my brother he still remembers working on the NSX with me and going to car shows. I ended up selling my NSX because my son started preschool which ended up costing about $8K a year and I wasn't sure if I could afford it at that time. Looking back, I should have kept it since I want to buy another one now.

Anyway, if you have to sell for financial reasons by all means, take care of your new upcoming family first. If finances wont be a problem, there is no reason why you need to sell the NSX. My son loved it when I picked him up in the NSX from Preschool. Well, until I sold it that is.

The NSX is family.

I say keep it.

Dunno why a kid means getting rid of a car. Especially if it is a 91 (no airbag to prohibit the use of a car seat). If your wife is coming then you all can take her car.

congrats!!!

If you're able, I wouldn't sell it. It will probably be very difficult to get any two seater with kids in tow (although I got my s2000 when my daughter was 10 months and then my NSX 2 years later when my son was 2 months)

I would see if you can swing it and not make any preemptive decisions.

+1 If it's financially possible get a hooptie to drive the kid around in:biggrin:
