Hey everyone! I just bought a 1992 Sebring Silver NSX last night. The car has a slight miss/hesitation between 1500-2500 or so RPM. I was thinking one or more of the coil packs could be shot. But after reading the forum, I realize it could be more. If someone could give me a little list of things to check for or a site for trouble shooting that would be great. Things like what the coil packs should read on a meter would be helpfull. Or if anyone knows where I could get a shop manual on CD or a site that has one online, that would be great as well.

Thanks in advance,

Kevin

online shop manual can be found in FAQ...

Congratulations!

Are you getting a Check Engine Light (CEL)?

You might try clearing the emission vacuum lines that come off the throttle body by using a vacuum pump and a compressor to clean the fittings into the intake. I think this is what eventually cleared my similar problem.

Coil pack check here: www.danoland.com/nsxgarage/spark_plugs/spark_plug.htm

Keep in mind that BrianK says that even though the coil packs pass the above test, they might not be in the clear: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31821

Good luck and keep us informed.

Again, congratulations!
