I am finally back at last. Extremely excited to be back in 2017 NSX. Have not visited the forum for quite sometime. It appears that the forum and community has changed quite a bit.
My business partner and I purchased two brand new NSX in span of less than 5 days apart. We showed up to Lamborghini Newport Beach monthly meet last Saturday with his Huracan and my McLaren 570S. He been telling me how badly he want the Civic Type R and willing to pay whatever mark up dealer is charging to just have it. I said Civic Type R is nice, but we not teenagers any more even though we still are at heart. I said why not just get NSX? and he said lets go check it out in person. We ended up visiting South Coast Acura and was greeted by general manager Chris at South Coast Acura. We both immediately fell in love with it after seeing NC1 NSX in person for the first time. To be honest we are sick and tired of seeing Lambo, Ferrari, GT3, McLaren. NSX is way more unique and no better way to get back into our first love with Honda/Acura family.
Later that night he called me and said "Jason, I went back and bought it". Next day he showed up at my warehouse to show me the NSX and hearing him telling me about how much he likes the car. I immediately ask Chris to find me one with just CCB and tech package. Chris found one for me and they had to do a trade with another Acura dealer, unfortunately that deal went south between 2 dealers. So I decided to just get the one SCA had with every single option available. The main reason why I had not came back is due to lack of exciting products. NSX is truly quite advanced and a lot more impressive looking in person.
His is Casino white with only CCB and tech package, my is 130R white with carbon roof, exterior, interior, engine bay, rear spoiler and rest of options available. All I can say is majority of reviews are so misleading, this is such a misunderstood car. I have to say Chris Harris is correct.
The interior is not on par for a $200k car, no soft close door, too quiet are only negative I can think of the car. It is essentially a baby P1, LaFerrari, 918. Honda/Acura certainly did not disappoint.
