Help, what's the trick to removing the A-pillar trim and the rear panel beneath the rear glass? I tried pulling them off carefully but I can't get a good enough grip on them & they won't budge!

Russ,

A-pillar is easy. Just open the door & pull the rubber insulation strip that runs along the bottom of the A pillar off the rail. You will then see the screws holding the pillar in place. Unfortunately, the B pillars, which is what I think you are refering to as the panels near the glass hatch, require a bit more work. None of these pillars can be pryed off, as they are screwed in. The B pillars are bolted from inside the car (3 screws) & numerous snap-on clips. You will have to pry off all of the vinyl trim panels behind the seats to access the B pillars from inside the car. Once you pry these interior panels off, you should be able to look & see where the screws are. I had a professional car stereo installer do this as they are very accustomed to tearing up interiors. I then had these peices painted by my body shop along w/ the roof. Just didn't want body shop guys messing around the interior as it's not their area of expertise. Hope this helps.

Thanks... I managed to get the rear trim off - the interior piece that runs beneath the window. But I still can't get the damn A-pillar trim off.... it's the interior piece on the left side of the windshield. Grrr!

It is tough to get off for sure. I had to do it while installing my A-pillar gauges in the new pod I got from Dali. It took me about 2-21/2 hourse to do the complete job. Not really hard just time consuming.

There are metal clips holding it (trim piece) physically to the A-pillar structural piece. Be patient but it does come off.

Can anyone confirm if this is the same procedure for an NSX-T? Thanks!
