The problem with the hats deteriorating in the Sun is the probably label inside the hat. Where are they made??? Who knows what the material is died with?

Good to see pics of hat for comparison. You will find man made polymer fibers on clothing labels from time to time. Acrylic does degrade in the sun over time. It yellows. Dyes can fade as well. Vega$ brings up a good point about chemical rxns also...especially since the fading seems 'blotchy'.
Sell off the faded ones as your own artistic brand :biggrin:
You're getting defective products - show the clothier the pics and demand a box of spares to keep various ones squirred away like Bill and his canes...
