The problem is to check the ECU or related components. With the shunt still plugged in, check for PGM-FI ECU codes by looking at the check engine light indicator. A bad ECU or wiring will not always cause a check engine light especially on a OBD1 car. Check the ECU, check the TCS computer > ECU wiring, and TCS control unit.
