How to extend clutch life?

I like to drive a sports car (automatics just don't elicit the same feel). So I pose this questions to the forum, and to all of the experienced NSX owners out there, I enjoy downshifting going into a curve, and accelerating through the curve

What you are describing is heel-and-toe braking. You want to slow the car for corner entry and downshift (matching revs for the downshift with a blip of the throttle) at the same time. This puts you in the proper (lower) gear for corner exit.
