How safe is the GTA?

Hello folks, I am in Toronto often and just wondering how safe our cars are in the GTA? Several years ago I was at a convention near the airport and two cars were stolen that night. Both were high end American cars. Ever since then, I have been somewhat reluctant to bring my NSX to the GTA. Thoughts?

I would suggest that you park your car indoors, I would not leave it over night in an open parking lot.

depends on what area u go to... there are some good and some not so good parts

I wouldnt leave it outside either, unless it is in an unusually secure location.

That said, Ive got a fair number of high end cars parking on the streets around my house every day. They seem to be okay, and we all have dbl car garages, so they choose to park there.

Toronto is a safe city, like everyone said above take your precautions for your car and just don't end up in the more poorer sections of town like parking your car anywhere along the whole of Jane St. and you will be fine.
