How reliable is the gen 2 NSX?

Did I see 45k miles on a NC1 above? That sounds pretty good if no major issues.

Any word about extended warranties on the NC1? I keep reading about “it’s being considered”, but if I buy, I’m going to daily, and will put significant miles on it, even more than my NA2. Why wouldn’t Acura allow extended warranties? That’s a big question if I buy used. That’s really unusual, even McLaren has extended warranties. Seems the car is reasonably reliable with the exception of certain lemons we all know of, but an expensive repair outside of warranty will not do.

Still no word on the extended warranty

I will follow up with the NSX Specialist

Thanks B&B. I’ve only had an issue with one of the 5 Hondacura products I’ve owned outside of warranty (owned 13 overall over 30 years), but a complex car like this one...it’s better to be safe, than sorry...or I’ll just lease new.

I would be interested in an extended warranty, my car will be 3 in October.

I am not overly concerned with the car grinding itself.

My general feeling is, if the car has been good since new, it will stay good for quite a while.

My Infiniti Q50S Hybrid AWD just reached 6 years and over 80K on the clock, and just goes and goes like day 1.

Not only that but if I’m not the mistaken, that particular person has been running a 600 wheel hp tune for the past 10000 miles and claims hundreds if not a thousand launches with the car which is reassuring in regards to the drivetrain.

docl i put down a deposit on april 29 at stingray chevy in plant city florida they call me this weekend and said that they would call me back in october so i could order my c8 corvette. for the price of this car which start under $60,000 for a 1lt corvette with no option and said i should see the car in feb. or march of 2020 for delivery.

Nice. I put deposit to get on first allocation two weeks ago. I’ll be going in to make final choices on options and place the order. I was told the same delivery time frame too.

Do you guys care to share size deposit they are requiring?

Sure. My dealer is charging MSRP. I put down a refundable $2k deposit to get a spot on the first allocation list. When I place my final order I then have make a total deposit of 5%. The 5% deposit then becomes non refundable. I’m expecting the price of the car I order to be around $73k.

Cool! Tks! Good luck! Hopefully I'll be there, too, eventually.
