How do you fold the mirrors?

I just picked up my 2018 and am staying at a hotel before driving home tomorrow. I need to fold in one mirror to fit in the parking space. Do you just force it or is there a trick to folding the mirror?

Never mind. I found the technical bulletin that says to just pull it.

Try lifting up before trying to forcing the inward folding

Imagcollnsx, that bulletin specifically says to not lift before/while folding.
