I'm going to be driving through vegas, and stopping off for a night (hopefully to squeeze in some hold'm). I want to know what hotel I can stay at that has valet/covered parking since I don't want the car parked unsupervised. Call me paranoid =) Also I'm not down to spend $300 a night since I"m only sleeping for about 6 hours and off I go to LA. Any recommendations? Any hook-ups for a NSX brethren?

Stay at the California. Resonable price.

I might have to go see that Blue man Group at the ventian. Will be going thru on the 27th of Sept.

Yeah, Venetian is offering $199 on Wednesdays, but I'll only be asleep for probably 3-4 hours, so rather save that money for some hold'm =) On the other hand the Luxor has rooms for $70, and Aladdin has rooms for $90. Is luxor ghetto such that I can't park my car there?

The cheapest place on the south end of the strip is probably going to be the Tropicana. If you are willing to walk 200 yards to the strip there is a motel 6 on Tropicana ave.

If you have a car your options are much more open, cuz all of the casinos have free parking so if you wanted to stay off the strip at the gold coast or other casino a block or two over and you could save a little $$.

If you like to hang w/ the younger crowd and don't mind being off the strip...the Palms casino is pretty nice. It usually is $100 to $120 during the week. Parking is pretty good as well.

Just park your car at any of the Strip hotel/casino parking decks. If you're only there for only 6-7 hours, your car will be fine. I've parked my NSX there a number of times, as well as Espirit1, with no problems ever. If you stay at the Luxor, just park your car at the Mandalay Bay deck, or valet it there. The valet is very visible spot and will most likely be surrounded by Lambos, Rolls, Bentleys etc.

You might want to consider Sahara.

It is next to the strip. They have done some major renovations and your car will definitely get a spot in the front lot if you decide to valet.

I stayed there overnight for $63 with everything included like energy, service, and etc.

Base room prices were $45 on the net.

It is close to the strip and it is easy to get comps there. You just have to bet $15 a hand and play for 4 hours. Got mine plus some other extras, that I can use on my next trip to vegas.

Cheers.

I've stayed at the Saraha before, it wasn't bad. If I had a car there, I'd even think about doing it again.

I stayed at the Tropicana. Never again. What a DUMP! Parking was equally horrible.

VegasNSX, that is a great idea! I was concerned about parking at Luxor, but I will valet it at Mandalay, and just walk over the other side.

Yeah the recently built shopping bridge will make it a really quick and easy jaunt from the Mandalay Bay to the Luxor.

When it comes to parking options, we here in Vegas are soooo spoiled.

Mandalay bay parks your car underground.. I'm sure of it because I was there last week. My car was not hot at all when they pulled it out. They have the parking designed so well that. You pickup your car at a lower level so there is no rush or traffic to deal with. You can take your time loading your wife, children and bags. The area is all shaded too.

I never said it was nice...only cheap. I'd never stay there if I had a car in Vegas.

The Embassy Suites (Convention Center) is pretty good. All suites. It's one block off the strip and my buddy just go a room over Labor Day weekend for $120 a night. Considering my rooms at the Monte Carlo ($240) and Hardrock ($450) are much more expensive I would say that is quite a deal. It's not on the strip but I think they have a shuttle that drops you off on the strip and you just have to take a taxi back.

Most big hotels have Free Valet parking (yes free, I would recommend tipping the guy though). They also have free self-parking lots that are usually covered.

If you pay enough money up front (TIP) im sure your baby can be well taken care of. Many of the hotels now do not park vehicles in open lots most have some kind of parking structure.

Please kindly take this recommendation seriously.

Ask for the Valet Manager/Supervisor. Offer him a Jackson if he/she lets you park your own car at their Valet Lot, in a space of your choice. Try to talk him/her into letting you keep your keys. When you pick-up your car, hand the attendant a Hamilton and ask him/her to deliver you to your car.

No attendant drives your car and you get to choose the best space available in a secured lot. Money talks........
