Different speculations, different interpretations, here's mine:
- The Audi was on the dry line and did NOT move to the right, he stayes in his line
- The NSX was passing on the wet side with at least two tires in the wet
- The NSX driver could not leave more room because he was losing grip already
- The NSX rear tire hit the door, NOT the front wheel of the Audi
-> The NSX driver was not misjudging where the Audi was, he simply lost the grip on the front while taking the Audi on the sharper radius curve with less grip. The NSX driver was misjudging the grip level there for the speed he wanted to pass.
That NSX is easy repairable as he didn't impact hard in the sidewall.
