I got some hids off my buddies integra and tried to hook them up last night and ran into problem. the passenger side works great, but for some reason the drivers side will not turn on. the ballast works bc we put it back into his car and the hid worked fine. no blown fuse bc my regular bulb works when u put it back in. has anyone ran into a problem like this and have any insight on how to fix it. thanks!

I would say check the polarity.

Make sure you have the NSX positive side hooked up to the positive side of the HID and the negative with the negative.

could the bulb be bad? did it touch something when it was hot?

Incorrect. The NSX is REVERSE.

Hook up the positve side with the negative.

Hook up the negative side with the positive.

Hi

I thought the reversed thing was only true for euro NSX's?

It is reversed on mine and I have a euro car.

Regards

I had to reverse my passenger side as well

common on nsx

Hi

If it is reversed it is reversed on both sides. As I wrote I thought it was only on euro cars. But I see that you have a US car.

Refards

No it's not just you.

It must be those Japanese assembly guys drinking too much saki bombs on their lunch break again.

Do they actually do saki bombs in Japan or is this only an American invention? Fortune cookies don't exist in China. They are made for the US market only.

Same here I went to put extension wires to relocate the Hid boxes & when I plugged them back in they didn't work .I've been driving around all week with my High beams on to get around.Thank God I just read this post thanks guys.

The polarity isn't "reversed". + is + and - is -. The issue is people are naturally confused by the wire colors which are white and black. They naturally assume black is ground when in fact it is the hot lead.
