HID ballast, good location to install

once you remove the plastic headlight cover, you'll see the metal frame supporting the projectors and you can strap it in neatly with zip ties.
That depends on how thin the ballast are. Mine are thin enough that I velcroed them between the projectors and the plastic headlight cover. I thought at first that the heat from the ballast might harm the paint, but after a three hour nite drive the painted surface was still cold. I had room to put my high beems in the same spot.
There are many places you can put the ballasts. This is where I put mine.
