I thought the counter resets when you top 99,999. Oh wait, this is the board for a Honda automobile. That means that the counter doesn't reset until you top 999,999.
When the Hondas and other Japanese cars invaded the American market in the 1970's, one of their selling points was the six-digit odometer, which implied higher quality because you could expect them to go over 100,000 and maybe even 200,000. (Most American cars at the time came with five-digit odometers.)
