    Caveat Emptor!

Here is it! The new 2010 FX-TA1 Widebody Kit for 91-01 NSX

We have received tons of emails on this and will be doing a rear bumper for the OEM car. The only issue we are trying to decide on is if we keep the oem exhaust termination points or require the end user to fab up a custom center exit.

I think you would have alot more buyers in line if you kept the oem exhaust points. I will put $$$ towards a new rear bumper.

Since my question is at the bottom of page 1, duplicating the post so it can be answered and isn't lost:

A couple questions:

1. I noticed the rear wide fenders begin to transition back to OEM width right at the seem connecting to the rear bumper. Does this mean the rear bumper dimensions is the same as OEM and we could have the option of only purchasing the rear bumper?

2. Any plans to create a front bumper for the 02-05 models so that those owners have an option to buy? Maybe this could be the 2010 FX-TA2. :)

Sorry I did not address this already.

1) It does terminate back to near OEM width. However, the rear bumper is one piece and would require some mods to get it to fit the rear quarter panel. They are fiberglass pieces so anything is possible. We are however considering production of this "style" rear bumper for the OEM car.

2) We have made an 02+ front bumper exactly the same as the pop-up light version but was not happy with the styling. We are working on a new front bumper for the 02 style cars.

3) The FX-TA2 has been a work in progress this entire season largely based off of our record setting TA machine. The kit has countless hours of CFD work and lots of track time. This kit will be for 02+ cars only and recommended for track use only.

I agree with you that we need to design the rear bumper with OEM exhaust points otherwise the change over costs could be high. We are also going to CFD the design to optimize aero as well as an appealing look. We realize this piece will be for the street more so than the track so we will put the emphasis on design.

Just letting everyone know we are still entertaining sponsorship inquiries for the 2011 season.

The initial early adopter prices are all sold out. We are however accepting sponsorship applications if anyone is interested.

In addition, the ground work for the FX-TA2 has been laid out and will begin prototyping next week! It will be an amazing kit for those looking for something more of a racecar look. It will of course be CFD rendered and will made with the premise of high horsepower platforms.

Congrats to Jim again for landing his FX-TA1 widebody NSX in another sponsorship ad.

That looks really good, congrats on the build. I think the jdm tails and adding the trunk lip spoiler will complete the rear end look. Those wheels are massive!

Car looks great, almost looks fake or photoshopped......

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I'll look into adding the trunk lip spoiler and tails. The wheels are Forged Specialties SC-6.

Jesus, that looks F*********K (sorry) HOT!! Here are my opinions:

• In this case there's no need for type-R wing, or perhaps is optional, which is GREAT!
• Definitely needs 02+ tails
• Definitely needs the trunk lip spoiler, in yellow
• Maybe Blodi Covers for the headlights

THAT IS IT!!

What a wide A$$ nice looking car!!

Love it!

Oscar

I like the wheels, sizes are very similar to what we applied to my brothers car. The front fender bulge from the rear 3/4 view looks similar.

What type of wheels are they?

I think from the picture and the angle it may look similar but they are actually quite different. The kit allows the user to custom tailor quite a few cut outs and vents. The above does not utilize the cut outs this one below does. Same goes for the rear of the car. It all depends on the end users taste and purpose of the car.
