Help with rear valve cover. **UPDATE**
So I had my intake manifold and valve covers powder coated. When I took the covers home to prep it for installation, I noticed one of the corners was chipped. The thing is corner that broke is powder coated. Anyways I decided to install the valve covers, and there was no oil leak as I was letting the engine warm up. When I went for a drive thought, I noticed a ton of smoke coming from my rear vent under the window.
I took a photo and it the gasket ballooned out when the oil pressure goes up.
Here is what it looks like when I took the cover off.
Here is what the inside of the valve cover look like.
Here is what it is suppose to look like.
So my question is this, I can't tell if the valve cover was always chipped and I did a improper install, or did this happen during transit? I am not trying to point blame on anyone, I just want to know if I can reuse this valve cover? If I can fix it, or if I have to replace it. If I replace it, they say the NA1 valve cover is discontinued and I have to use the NA2 one which I have no problems with it. I just want to know how to reroute the PCV system since I heard it was different.
Thanks guys.
