our 2yr old ceramic tile floor in the kitchen is getting grungy looking. In low traffic areas of the floor, you can see what it used to look like and we'd like to restore it back to "that" shade again. I'm told we should've sealed it in some fashion when it was new, but we never did. Anybody have any suggestions on what to do from here? Thanks in advance!

What you will need to do is to go to Home depot or Lowes and just buy a tile grout cleaner solution and a grout sealer. Clean it very well, and then seal it. That simple.

After you clean it, Home Depot sells a new tile and grout sealer that you spray on and the excess evaporates, so you don't need to be too detail oriented, and you can probably do it without breaking your back bending over.
