Help with BMW E39 Fuel filter replacement

Wow - crazy to repace the fuel filter on the 2000 BMW E39 (540) and the manual is no help at all! I basically killed myself and was turned away at the hardware store looking for line/clamps.

I know this is a NSX board but thought I would see if anyone has any ideas.

I did mine on my 528i a little over a year ago, but seems to be a different setup than the 540 as mine only had one line in and out of it. I just remember what a pain it was to get the covers off just to get to the filter.

OMG the cover was easy compared to the fight I had with the factory high pressure clamps. Not like you can get in there with a dremmel and fuel vapers all around!
