Car is a 91 low boost ctsc engine. Car threw a code over the weekend and restarting the car cleared it from the dash and made the car act right for over 100 miles without issue. It's happened before.
I just pulled the code which is a code 16- fuel injector I think. Check engine blinked 1 long blink followed by six fast blinks. I cleared that code via clock fuse, but there is still a tcs light that flashed 4 times even after reset and after letting the car idle on its own for 20 minutes after a reset.
Is that just showing that the ecu is being read? Or is that another code entirely? The tcs light that is.

Go to pages 19-83 and 84 in your shop manual.
It explains TCS error codes and should help you.

Cool, thanks JDCross.
The manual suggested swapping a known good ecu. I spoke to Shad yesterday and it seems there are some firmware issues with the CT electronics on the new kits which cause the direct issue I am having in cold weather at the end of the rpm range. He says it needs to be flashed with updated firmware. Thanks for the insight. I will try the reflash and see where that gets me.
