One extra point to mention , Brake fluid is water soluble , so if i ever suspect a leak , I rinse it with water , if it dissolves , it's brake fluid .
An old mechanic friend taught me that , he also told me there was once a reason for diferent colors of fluid , tranny (red) ,engine (brown), rad (green) etc.

Got me too! And I was very careful about putting the shaft in :smile: . And looking at the picture, I think the seal was nicked too (that's where my leak was also).

btw - Miner, you should be some kind of detective or PI...you see a pretty plain photo of a garage floor, some tire prints and some inconspicuous fluid laying around and you call the crime scene to a T in Post#3!
