Yeah, just haven't been online much in a while. Computer took a dump, and while I have a notebook, I ended up spending very little time online with it. :) Finally built a new computer...... so I guess I'm back online. :D

I've been to C&C a couple or few times since, but the car's been sitting otherwise. :P

See you on Saturday. :)

"I have been speaking with Haig (Ferrarichat organizer) on practically a daily basis and he suggested I get on here and introduce myself with a quick hello. I am Alexander's Auntie Bridget. I was lucky enough to be on part of Alexander's roadtrip and meet some of the Ferrari family in Burbank, and Scottsdale. There are no words to express my thanks and gratitude for all that you "great fellow human beings" have done for my nephew! The warm welcome out pouring of love that you have shown my famliy has been truly remarkable! You have all forever touched our hearts. I have never seen my nephew smile so much! He is a gentle quite shy soul, and is a man of few words, but let me tell you this has been all he has been talking about with us in the Van, (we are now calling it Van-errair) when we have been driving around. I know he will be happy to see the Burbank gang on Saturday. It has been great reading all the post, even though it makes me cry. Well again thank-you hardly seems adequate, but THANK-YOU all very much!! Bridget"

Meeting at 9:00-9:30 in Burbank at Pickwick Parking lot located at:
1001 West Riverside Drive, Burbank, CA 91506

Santa Barbara to Pismo Beach:
1. Sam (Maybe) but he is working on Two cars to lead to Pismo. Update as I get it info.

From Burbank:

We will start counting the miles as we roll with Alexander. Once the odometer hits 21 Miles, I will turn my emergency flashers in and ask followers to do the same and leave it on for 21 seconds indicating our wish is complete.

At that point if you are not continuing with us, please drive up to pass (Van-errari)and honk Bye to Alexander.

We will make a stop over to at Auto Gallery on our way up for few minutes so Alexander can see the store and a surprise will be waiting for him there.

We will then continue north as a group for those who wish to continue to Santa Barbara where we can sit down for lunch and meet Sam or his buddies if possible and they can take over the escort. At that point we will return back.

Please be aware that this thread has gotten ton of support and attention and the same time. You are driving at your own rsik and all I ask from all driver is to make it a safe and enjoyable trip for all.

Are all the NSX members planning on meeting in Arcadia to roll into Burbank?

I'm coming from the Valley so I may just meet everyone in Burbank so I don't have to double back ... However, if the plan is to show up as a group then I'll try to make it to Arcadia.

8 of us are meeting there. But by all means you can meet us in Burbank. Maybe we can meet you a couple blocks away from the Burbank spot then roll in all together? Completely up to you.
 
I was able to wiggle out of my previous engagement for this. I'll be leaving the Bay Area tonight and arriving in the L.A. area very early, grabbing a little sleep then heading out to the meeting point in Arcadia. How many minutes should I plan to get there from Rowland Heights, just off the 60?

Also, Steve (SFDreamer) please get with Yo/Jack and get my celly from them or PM me with yours so that I can get in touch with you if needed.

EDIT: I saw two proposed times. Both 9am but one calling to meet at Arcadia at 9am and one for Burbank at 9am. Since the Arcadia guys can't be at two places at once, would anyone care to clarify? It's a very real possibility that i'm trippin' so someone please set me straight :)

For the Arcadia guys... I don't think I saw a meet-up time for Pavilions?

I propose 8:15am. Give us 15mins to gather together and be on the road by 8:30 for a 9-915am arrival in Burbank.

I misunderstood Steve's post when I proposed the 9am meet up in Arcadia, but as Steve mentioned, we should have plenty of time to get there as long as everyone is on time given a 25 min drive in normal conditions.

As I understand it, the F-Chat guys are meeting up in Burbank between 0900-0930 and will be driving out to the hotel at 1000.

Everyone just needs to make it a point to be on time or early so that we can get there by around 0930-ish.
