HELLA rub .. something wrong with my 20's

/\ those cars are ridiculous, gotta love their mindset "Hey BBS made these great ultra wide wheels for a vintage Porsche, hmmm let me see if I can fit them on my late 80's golf!"

Surprisingly, at 20x10.5 +22; the rears sit rather "HELLA Flush." A 255 rear would be perfect! At 20x9 +22 FR, you're just asking for trouble. Believe me, I've tried

20X9 front you say. Hmmph. I can get them to fit with a few minor modifications. I'm hella sure.

I have just the tool for the job.

John , you can't give him that tool 'cause for 1 , you need it to keep polishing your wheelwells and 2, it's almost worn out from polishing said wheelwells !!!

Its known as "DIY fender rolling" see it here:

Actually, it was in reference to my fascination with HELLA Flush .com

Its comical to read all those 'not so friendly replies' vs. those that call me out by the 3rd post; And a sincere thanks for those members trying to offer help

You meant to be serious about what you just did to your NSX?
Anyone on their right mind would know better not to put 20" up front...*sigh* let alone wrong offset...
Please refrain from posting your crazy HELLA FLUSH fascination ideas.

at first I was like uhhh... then I realized it had to have been a joke!! But the rears do not look so bad.

Well I know this was all a joke, but I'm still gonna throw my insult out there ;)
That was HELLA STUPID. If this had turned out to be true, I wouldn't have felt bad at all. Some of you say he wasn't given enough good advice. BS.

Hey guy, no need for name calling. It was a joke, laugh and enjoy life.

I'm not calling you stupid, but had this not been a joke, what you did was stupid.

What size are the tires on the rear?

Thanx,

You're pointing him to a solution that was given to him prior to his purchase of these wheels!

I find it impossible to feel sorry for him. He was told in no uncertain terms that these wheels would not fit...now he's asking for more "help"! I'm not sure there's any earthly being that can help him.

Maybe some reverse psychology...OK, otoro, what you're going to want to do is find some 26 inchers off of a pimped Escalade, then follow Malibu Rapper's instructions for fender stretching. (hee hee...now he'll go to 17/18)

I love the title to this thread BTW. I'm sure he had to be scraped up off the floor when the car drove like it had the Club on it.

His next project:

That is so cool, I would drive that!!!!

lol... ok this thread was so funny i had to read parts of it twice...
but all that aside, find a vehicle those will fit on (PROPERLY) and hope someone buys them for it so you can recover some funds. I hope you're not driving with those on... well actually I'm not sure that's physically possible but anyhow you don't want to damage your car if you try it. Best of luck, but realize that you were warned pretty explicitly so I'm sure you'll save yourself some grief this next time around.

Uh, everyone here is aware that this was a joke right?

otoro was just screwing around in his driveway with a buddy's G35 wheels. He didn't wait 3 months, he didn't spend $4K and at no point did he seriously think they were going to work or drive the car with them on. otoro's a knowledgeable guy from all accounts.

Just wanted to address this as the last few posts don't seem to acknowledge the gag...
