I have a 92 that has no heat in the cabin. Turns out the control unit is bad. Has anyone ever had a control unit go bad? The worst part is the control unit is not available and is on factory backorder. The local dealer did not know, but seem to think the part had to come from Japan. He said it could take as much as five months to get the part in. Does this make any sense to anyone? Is there anyway I could get the car repaired any quicker with new parts?

Can not help you with any data on control unit failure.
Suggest, however, with all the wrecked NSX's that show up on various web sites that you look for a used one.
