Headlight STUCK!

I just completed my HID install and after lowering the headlights, the passenger side doesn't want to pop-up. I remember this happening once before, but after a couple of pushes of the button it started working again. My question is, how can i manually pop it up? and how can i test whether the motor is shot or not?

Another important note, the motor was making a very slight whinny sound while the battery was connected, as if it were trying to do something, and it became pretty hot.

well, i used a little force and managed to get the light up again. it appears the factory plug may have been caught beneath the bracket. seems to work now. hope that solves the problem.

Glad you got it fixed, there would be nothing sadder than an NSX driving around out there w/ Fiero disease!
