Finally got the paint protection film on and put in 64 miles this weekend!! Yeah, baby!!! For those who know me, that's almost 2 months on the odometer  Drove up through the twisties of Seven Hills, then took the back road towards the M hotel (Volunteer Road), continuing to LV Blvd. toward Town Square (avoiding the urge to "cruise" along the shops)... why?... cuz I already did that yesterday!.. then to the 215 East back to the hood. Weather was deeehlicious--- made me feel grateful, and glad to be alive!! Hope to take that route again with my fellow NSXers sometime soon. The next opportunity will be next Saturday, May 8th, as Car&Coffee and The Porsche Club will be co-sponsoring a POOL PARTY at the M Hotel. They have 200 slots for parking reserved for participants. No charge for the event. So break out your speedos (or not!) Festivities begin after C&C. Have a great weekend.

Glad to see you're getting some seat-time in the NSX! My NSX went in to California Auto Body today for a complete paint job (original color of course). I'll need to add the ClearBra after the paint cures; so if you wouldn't mind, PM me with the name of the establishment that did the installation on your car.

Thanks,

Tom

Tom,

I thought i saw your car over there. I was there this morning looking for Fes's shop for the corner balancing and i saw your car in the lot. I talked to Ray (Findlay) and he told me you were getting your car repainted. What made you decide to get the car repainted? Isn't that pretty much your DD? The paint still looks good.

It's not the DD anymore. I drove it as my DD for 5 years; now it's time for restoration to its former glory.

Mike at ECOTINT would like at least 45 days(!) of paint drying/curing before he could safely apply the paint protection film. I'll talk to you more about it when we see each other. Hope everything goes smoothly with the Monte Carlo Blue II spa treatment!!

Where would you go to repaint your car? Any places you have looked at?
