Hard acceleration momentary cut-outs....

I also get the power loss issue.. but TCS light comes on (flashes) during these moments. My mechanic told me the TCS is coming on because my front to rear tire size ratio is not correct.

I have 235/40-17 up front and 265/35-18 in back. Im going to replace the 235's with 215's in the front. I need to do this anyway because I want to lower it and wont have room with the 235's up front.

I'm not sure of those tire sizes... what size rims are you running?

Those are definitely odd tire sizes for sure...

Got 17s and 18s. I did the ratio math and the front tire size was about 5.6% greater than stock.

I had the tires switched out yesterday from 235 to 215's and the problem is gone.
Seems that little 0.6% over 5% was enough to cause the computer to think the wheel was slipping at times.

front stock = 23.1
my old 235's = 24.4 (+ 5.6%)
my new 215's = 23.8 (+ 3%)

but the best part is.. no more rubbing. And am now able to lose the 4x4 look with some H&R's. Lost 1 inner fender 'clip' from the rubbing.
