Guess Who's Back.... They Always Come Back :D

I may not have been able to drive an NSX the last 5 years, but I did manage to concoct the next best thing.

A VRC (virtual racing chassis) w/ shifter attachment and Logitech G25. Couldn't recommend this chassis for gaming any higher. The seating position and comfort is perfect.

View from the drivers seat. I was too lazy to fire up the game and try to pause it perfectly so I just photoshopped a game image over the screen, but you get the point.

Where does one buy this? Thanks.

Welcome back. Talk about flash back, Larry Garcia aka NsxModified.

Danny

+1 You probably don't remember me but I do remember you and your ride back from the NSXModified days. You had the fold out stereo nav pod too back then if I am not mistaken.

Welcome back.

Yes, I remember Larry and the shop back in the day. He was a well meaning guy and very talented. I remember things weren't going so well for him back when I was still selling the NSX and that was long ago. I don't think running a business was his strength, it was just too much to handle for one person and I'm guessing it's what put him under. No idea what became of him.

Now I know first hand the difference between being very good at what you do and actually running the business behind it.

Hey Ilya! John mentioned you were back when I talked with him on the weekend...I can hardly believe it! And yes, we still have our NSXs!

Congrats and welcome back! Was NSX Prime Canyon Drive 3 the last time I saw you? Geez...that was so long ago (and, even then, you had already sold your NSX)!

Now I've got to dig up a photo of the red rims you originally had on your white NSX. I still have a lot of photos from 2003 and earlier that I haven't had a chance to upload to my smugmug account...

Don't forget this pic. If I remember correctly, the second car was NSXTC, third was SpeedDemon and then Conrad

Awesome. Glad to see you're still around! I do have some pics of my NSX when the rims were still red. That was not intentional I assure you, lol. What did happen to Mark and his twin turbo red NSX. I remember he was working for Activision. You still at Naughty Dog?

Marc sold the twin turbo awhile back and now at Luxoflux (which is owned by Activision). He replaced his NSX with this...but has since moved on to a more family friendly sports coupe. Reminds me...I should give him a call too.

I'm still with Naughty Dog.

Conrad? Wasn't his NSX silver and supercharged? He did the burnout that we had a bunch of pics posted at the time. Man, all these old memories just flooding back.

I think I remember Mark hitting sub 12 1/4 mile times in his NSX back then and he wanted it faster still. That Noble is insane, wow. He needs to just save for a used f-16 after this one. wow

I really need to play Uncharted. You guys are working on the next one and I haven't even played the first one yet! I heard it was really good and I've just been so busy I haven't had much free time for squat. I think the only PS3 game I managed to play and finish was Metal Gear. That and just racing sims from time to time. I'm determined not to miss the next karting trip!

OMG John. I recognize the girl in the passenger seat of the Celica. That was fracking six girlfriends ago! I can't believe how much has happened for everyone since then. Have a lot of catching up to do around here. At least I'm finally with my last one for good now thank god... unless she catches me planning on going to the race track again. :D

Uncharted is good...I've played through it twice and had started on its most difficult setting. And I'm really excited about the sequel.

I hear ya about not having free time for squat. I have a pile of games dating back to the PS2 that I need to play through (still playing God of War and Shadows of the Colossus).

Ha...you said "frak". It has all happened before...it will all happen again...kinda like NSX ownership. :D

Ilya, how about me driving up and down the street by Torrance Airport and you videotaping the first Tubi prototype ? Was it back in 01, 02 ? Well I am also back to the NSX fold after 3 years of abstinance....

Yeah I said Frak. Like why the FRAK is the best show on TV about to end! Bastards!
I'm going to have to play through the firsr Uncharted before the next one comes out. There are few enough really good games for the PS3 I should at least play the ones worth playing.

Bboxer, yes I forgot all about taping the Tubi. You know I still want one of those now, but it doesn't seem they are around anymore. It was a cool sound. Congrats on your new NSX too. Maybe I'll see you at an upcoming event.
You know I still have the T-shirt from Canyon Drive 2 I think with my avatar on it.

Anybody remember my avatar before I made this one? The pre-teen warlord. It caused a little stir back then, I don't even remember why. silly.

Now that is crazy and I own the Bee:eek:

LOL. Again with the red rims. It did look crazy for a while. They were sold to me red, but it was such a good deal on that set of Dymags I couldn't pass them up. They were so unbelievably light. I had them powdercoated white eventually.
