Not related to HP numbers but I’m curious about a couple of things. Were your pistons manufactured with a wristpin offset? Did your rods include a piston squirter hole? Thanks, mark

Mark, the Pauter rods do have a "Squirter Hole" on the wristpin ends, they also have the oil channels on the crank end. The pistons themseves were manufactured to allow for a 8.5 - 1 compression ratio which did involve a different wristpin offset.

Build Update

As of friday the rotating assembly has been balanced, all parts are accounted for and on the bench cleaned and ready for assembly. We are still waiting for a custom crank pulley but that should be in before it is needed. The car should be on the dyno by the end of this week or the middle of next.

We had to crack a few eggs to make this omlette:) Good thing I bought quite a few eggs knowing how big this omlette was going to be! Good luck on the project hopefully it will yield the results you are looking for.

Great choice on rods. Compression seems like an old V-8 engine builder is putting your baby together. The wristpin set-up sounds like you want to try to make more torque

Not really on the first comment, but a definite yes on the second.
