Kansai JAPAN!
Hello all, Dan Johnson of GT-Rom.net here for the first time. GT-Rom has been around here in Kansai but Mr. Tamura, the owner has a fairly limited grasp of English so I'm here to help bridge the gap and get you guys the goods you need to Tweak, Tune, Race, Cruise, Pimp or whatever you want to do to your ride!

Check out the website www.gt-rom.net and let me know if there is anything you need. Of course you can send to his address but Mr. Tamura will forward all English enquiries to me [email protected]

I had a cherry 91 in Hawaii with the Louis Vuitton interior blah blah blah, but had to sell her after coming back to Japan but my love for the NSX has not died. My wife is calling for me to come pick her up so this is my HELLO to the community, if you have any mechanical questions or raves let me know, Mr. Tamura's yellow NSX is a beast and the engine has been worked on quite a bit. I've never put the pedal down to the floor! Call me a baby, but I consider it safer that way!

Hey Kool-aid, I'll be checking as often as humanly possible! I'll check the link and see what it means and update this reply.

The part you are looking at is a replacement throttle for the NSX. The one being sold in the picture is a stock refurbished unit. Here in Japan many owners use a Nissan throttle from a Cima, or Infiniti Q45 in the overseas market. Most tuners here in Japan make this one of the first engine mods right up there with an aftermarket intake or exhaust. The stock refurbished unit is a relatively cheap and quick power boost. The Infiniti throttle with ecu and tuning costs around $4,000 US...

I'm working on translations for the website so feel free to let me know if you have any other questions!

Sounds great.
I am in Hong Kong and tried purchase parts from GT-Rom but no reply, whatever. I like to know more about the New ABS system, is it 129000 yen included all parts, like steel tube, bump, computer? 38000 yen for the computer wire then what the original parts included for RHD NSX?

Hey Henry, have to appologize for Mr. Tamura, he was probably overwhelmed with the thought of having to explain in English

If you send me the links with the parts you are interested in I'll get translations to you and any other info you need ASAP.

What year is your NSX? I'm looking for a lefthand drive shell myself, a little different for the locals here in Japan.

And I'll be in Shanghai on Friday, January 12th-14th, business, any recommendations for a nice place to see hot rides?

Am appreciate your help.
The only I can copy the link is:
http://www.gt-rom.net/gtrom/index.htm
Then you have to roll down and find the GT-one ABS.
Have no idea in Shanghai, I just go there few times with day trip, sorry.
I can buy you drinks coming few days if you stop in Hong Kong. Just send me PM. On 12-14, it is a trackday even in ZhuHai, I applied but I will miss it because of business trip at the same time.
Cheers
Henry

Welcome to Prime!

I'm sure this is makes alot of people here very happy.
Best news in a long time if you ask me.

I also noticed the gt-rom site has been freshened up! Very nice!

Henry, that is the newer NA2 ABS upgrade for older NA1 model NSX's and the harness is an inhouse special built by Mr. Tamura to accomodate the newer system. The LHD and RHD ABS's are different so you should probably order from your local dealer unless you need a RHD one. The harness is 38,000 Yen and that is what you need to attach it to your NA1. This is a pretty nice upgrade and it is limited stock until he has more made if needed. This is his second batch of 150 so that means there are over 150 of them riding around already...

Well noted thanks, the major question is. For 129000 yen are included all necessory parts ( steel tube, ABS bump etc.) and no need to find extra original parts right? Because in Hong Kong have no NA2 to check out the different.
Many thanks
Henry

Welcome here mate I have one of your exhausts and will be contatcting you in the future about other parts.

Hey DJ

It's great to finally have you guys on prime. Most of us if not all are fans of your companys products ,but I'm sure some have had a little hesitation in buying from Japan with you here now for us to ask questions though I'm sure all that will change. Please keep us in mind for group buys and specials on products your company may have overstocked or on clearence:biggrin:

Thanks again for the interest and that is a sick blue you got! There is one near my house here in Nara, but it's the darker, navy color, a Type S. Not many NSX's in Japan do that blue because of Nissan's Skyline GTR that came out with a similar color. They missed out!

As for group buys, looking into it, not too popular in Japan, but let me know what type of things EVERYONE would like and I'll check into it. I can tell you, you guys will love our new tail lights coming out...oops, more info soon, with pics!

Until then, how would you feel about a the GT-One '02 headlights group buy? If there is enough interest we could start with a sale on them or something. Again, uncharted territory for us, but we're up for it!

Thanks I love the blue. I'll start a thread and see what resposnses we get.

I could be wrong but it looks like the reinforcements some people put in drift cars.
