Grand Opening car meet 3/21/2010 10AM-5PM in Elk Grove, CA

Re: Grand Opening CAR MEET 3/21/2010 FROM 10AM-5PM in Elk Grove, CA

Based on people I've talked with and the posts on this thread, we should have around eight or nine NSXs from Sacramento and surrounding areas. Add that to the Bay Area and Central Valley cars coming up and we will have a good showing of some nice NSXs.

Where in the bay are you comming from? If your going up I-5 or 99 I'll possibly meet up. 99 looks a little better, cause the shop is closer to it. which way do you plan on going?

580 TO THE 99
so I will be driving through stockton, if you know a place to meet up with kind driveways lemme know :p

Re: Grand Opening CAR MEET 3/21/2010 FROM 10AM-5PM in Elk Grove, CA

Off of 99 you could exit Morada ln., go over the freeway (westside of 99) and right on the corner is a fairly new center, safeway, in the corner is a panda exp. and starbucks. If you want to meet at starbucks 915ish that would be cool, the earlier the better. I wanted to get to elk grove just before 10 for good spot. If anyone else wants to meet there or someplace else, post up or pm me.

Looks like I'll be attending....! :)

Is this show really that big for the need to get there so early for a spot?

The parking lot isn't super big. So if a lot of people show up you might get stuck with sucky spot.

I HAVE SPECIAL SPOT FOR ALL THE NSX BUT STILL COME EARLY  FROM THE LIST WE HAVE ON DIFFERENT FORUMS WE SHOULD HAVE ALEAST 120-150 CARS

i'll be there.

Jeff,
i put a message out to the sacramento chapter of the nsxca about your meet.

thank you!

Got home about 30 minutes ago. Had a great time hanging out w/ the NSX crew. Was kind of tired answering the question; where is James? or how come James didn't come out? My first response was that you were performing surgery. My second response was he's running. I handed out 8x10 glossy's of James, which appeared to satisfy his fans

pics will be up, when Roger post them up.:wink:

looking forward to April 17th, should be alot of fun..

This might turn out to be bigger than wek fest....lol. Ed, Im comming down with the north sac guys so I'll probably just meet you there.

Well this year at Wekfest we have roughly 12 NSX's in SF Japantown.....

Today we counted 21 NSX's total which is an amazing turn-out for something that is NOT EVEN a car show! The drive was fun going up there and special thanks to Nalesh for taking us to the Mexican place. That burrito was awesome!

A bit tired but overally fun day :)

Sidenote, after I split up with Danny/Mike off the 580/680 junction, I merge onto 680 south and low and behold a pre 2002+ white NSX pulls up in the fast lane. Stock besides a front CF lip, we gave each other a thumbs up and headed home. Today was like NSX'fest!

well I did get a few pics but the truth is once I saw Big Mike bust out that mega camera I figured there was no point in me taking pics any more.

Anyway here are a few I got with my meager camera.

There were a lot of dogs walking around but I had to get a pic of this bad boy. Owner said he was an Italian Bull Mastif.....weighed 140 pounds and had a 27 inch neck.

Had a great time today and it was good seeing everyone. Lunch at the Mexican place was fun. A few other NSXs sneaked in before the end of the meet. Final tally for NSX count at the meet today was 24.

Thanks for sharing those pics!

your welcome but I think Mike has some professional style pics. Cmon Mike post them up.

Jeff.....very nice meet and great shop.

It was nice seeing some of you again and meeting a few new guys.

Nilesh,

Good call on the Mexican restaurant.

That big old "Yaller" Dog must be suckin up the owners Viagra (along with anything around the kennel not bolted down) with all the drool comin out of his mouth, displaying a prick the size of a Howitzer that could scare small children and excite old ladys and to really intimidate anyone who gets in your way, a head the size of a small steam shovel.

CUTE

Jack

After going through the several hundred pics that I took at the show, the only one that is worth posting is Roger's NSX. He was asked to move his NSX to the premier parking spot. Way to represent the Bay Area Chapter.:biggrin::biggrin:

LOL. I thought they were asking me to move because I was blocking the shots they wanted to get of Rick's car.

This NSX owner is so bad azz he drives with no hands.....and this was while passing me at 100+.......I think he was on his way to another car show to win some more trophies.
