Here's my green/tan '94....41K kms. Fortunately we're getting some warm dry weather (well...by Canadian standards anyway) for us to get aquainted.

Dude, you live in Victoria! So do I, some of the time. Presently I am in Las Vegas until the first week of February. I was home over Christmas and New Years but did not hear that there was a green NSX in town. When did you get it and what year is it? I own two siver 91's and would love to get together when I am back. Bye the way, the car looks great! Cheers

Animate, Imagestation is throwing up a link violation: Imagestation will not allow you to link directly to the full size pics, but you can link to a slightly smaller image. You can edit your post by clicking the pad & pencil icon above it, & change the URL link for your images to drop the ".orig.jpg" at the end of the address & that will take care of it.

i am not seeing anything. Ok 1 pic is working now. Is that your house if so why didnt you get a new one?

Thanks for the comments...

Stephen, you own those silver ones! Well then you're to blame

. Everytime I saw your car go by it made my jaw drop. Very nice. Email me when you're back.

D'Ecosse, thanks for the tip. I removed the orig.jpg and it seems to be ok.

CPMoran: Not my place, but it makes a great backdrop.

Animate, do you take your NSX on the BC Ferrys to the mainland? How NSX safe are they?

My grandpa (Akira Iwasaki) used to live on Mayne Island (I don't know if he still owns the house or if he sold it). It would have been fun to have a shot of my NSX by his place...especially since my plate bears his name.

One of these days I want to drive my NSX all the way up the coast to Vancouver...just don't know when I'll be able to set aside THAT much time during the summer months (no way would I do that during the rainy season).

akira3d: I've only taken my NSX on the ferry once and that was when I brought it over from Vancouver last month. I was a bit paranoid since I'd only had the car for about 45 minutes. I asked in advance if there was a best way to do it but none of the staff seemed too concerned. To make a long story short it was no problem. The loading ramp inclines are adjustable and there's someone at the controls watching as the cars load. Once you are on the boat it's fine. The Mayne Island ferry is smaller but I suspect it'll be ok. I'll ask around and email you if I hear different. That would be a great trip if you could make the time.

I've seen a few of your posts and wondered how you came up with akira3d, now I know! My business name is akira-design. Not so interesting a history though, I just put sylables together at random until I had a name I liked.

I found out that my grandpa still owns the Mayne Island place. He's in his 90's, so I hope I can make the trip in the next couple of years...but with my work schedule, that's quite unlikely.

Actually, it's a bit more involved that that. My middle name is Akira as well, but I probably wouldn't have gone online with the name had I not been an animator and a student of film (yes, I'm quite fond of the animated feature Akira and many of the films by late director Akira Kurosawa). I tagged on 3D because, professionally, I'm a 3D artist. I registered the domain www.akira3d.com in case I ever decide to form my own business.

Seriously?
